Job Description:

Novellis Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammographic imaging for screening and diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach to care. This role is fully onsite at our Brooklyn location.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards.

  • Position patients safely and effectively to ensure comfort and optimal image quality.

  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.

  • Review and verify patient information, imaging protocols, and exam requisitions.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support accurate image interpretation and reporting.

  • Maintain required documentation, quality assurance records, and compliance with FDA and MQSA regulations.

  • Educate and reassure patients throughout the imaging process, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism.

  • Monitor inventory of imaging supplies and assist with ordering as needed.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) required.

  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license required.

  • Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered.

  • Knowledge of MQSA, ACR guidelines, and radiation safety standards.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.

  • Strong patient care orientation and attention to detail.
